On our way out of the Costco parking lot this evening our kids spotted
Fuji Park across the street and begged to go check it out. We pulled into the parking lot and turned the munchkins loose for a bit. With a great playground, lots of green space, and more, this park has something to offer everyone!
When you visit, the best place to park for access to the play structure is in the dirt lot directly across from the Costco gas station. This puts you right next to the gated entry into the play area and the restrooms/drinking fountain. Or you can walk past those and access the green space and gazebo.

Gazebo and green space. The gazebo has picnic tables and electrical outlets. |
I love that this park has a fenced-in play area with nice shade trees and picnic tables. Parents can sit and relax while kids play, without worrying about escapees.

Inside the fenced play area there are several picnic tables all shaded by great trees. |
The play structure is huge! My kids were so excited to play here, although they were disappointed that there weren't any swings. There was a sign recommending this structure for children ages 5-12, but all three of our kids (ages 2, 4, and 6) enjoyed it. I did have to keep an eye on the toddler, and help her out with some of the more difficult elements. The surface under the structure is small wood chips/bark. The kids actually really enjoyed digging and playing in the bark, so some sand toys might be really fun here.
The park has nice restrooms, which (according to the city website) are heated and open year round. They were clean and in good repair when we visited. There is a working drinking fountain outside the bathrooms so if you don't want to hassle with bringing water for everyone you can still stay hydrated. :)
