North Sunridge Park - Indian Hills

This was the first park we visited after we moved to the area, and we love it! It has great play areas for the kids, a nice, well lit walking path, and lots of green space. You also just can't beat the views of the mountains from here! We've already been back several times in the last couple of weeks.

You have two options for accessing the park. Either way is street-side parking, but the roads aren't super busy so you should be able to find a spot. The most direct route is to park on the Southeast side of the park on Sunridge Dr. This puts you closest to the play area and picnic tables. There is also a path going out the north side of the park to Sunnycrest Dr. I feel like this entrance was intended for individuals walking in from the surrounding neighborhood, but you could probably park over there and come in that way if you felt it worked better for you. The picture below is taken along the path into the park on the North side.
This park has several great options for kids. There's a swing set with both baby and regular swings. There are two different play structures, one for toddlers and one for older kids.

There is also a nice little gazebo with picnic tables and BBQ grills. This park has a bathroom! It is only open during daylight hours (there is a sensor which will automatically lock the doors when the light gets too low, but even on a cloudy day the door still opened for us), and I don't believe there is any kind of changing area. There is a drinking fountain nearby, but it doesn't work. I'm curious to see if it's just not been turned on for the summer yet or if they just never work.
