Just across the highway from the great beaches at Zephyr Cove, you will find a little hidden gem. We stumbled across it when we were looking for the
public library and I'm so glad we did!
This park, owned and operated by Douglas County, has a TON of stuff to offer! In addition to the library, there is a play structure, covered picnic areas (with grills), tennis courts, volleyball courts, an exercise trail, softball/soccer fields, and a huge
disc golf course. Whether you're just looking for a way for the kids to burn off some energy or looking for something for the grown-ups to do for fun, this park has something for you!
The day we visited we didn't have a whole lot of time to dedicate to exploring the park, so there's a lot of it that we didn't see. The exercise trail looked really neat! If we lived (or were staying) nearby it would be a fun way to get in a daily workout.
There are nice restrooms (with changing table) and drinking fountains in the library, but I didn't notice any outside for when you visit after hours or on a day they're closed. That doesn't mean they aren't there though.
