Harmony Park - Brewery Arts Center - Carson City

I saw something this winter on the Brewery Arts Center's Instagram feed about a music garden and couldn't wait for the snow to melt so we could go check it out. This small garden really packs a punch and is well worth a visit, or two!
This little garden is filled with a variety of different percussion instruments that your child can literally bang around on. There are drums, and chimes, and xylophones enough to keep any kid happy for a while!
Located on the West side of the Brewery Arts Center, just off of Minnesota St, this little garden would be easy to drive right past. There is parking in several nearby locations, it shouldn't be hard to find something close. This park doesn't have any amenities on its own, but it is right behind Expresso Yourself and you may be able to find bathrooms in there.
There is a small art gallery that opens right off the park, which we enjoyed wandering through. We did have to keep a close eye on the kids though while we were in there!
One last thing to point out: There is a neat mural just around the corner on the side of the building, and it is designed for you to participate in the image! If only we had noticed this BEFORE we took our pictures! Note the person is holding puppet strings? YOU can be the puppet! Now that we've noticed this we're going to have to go back and take some more pictures, just for fun.
