Genoa Americana Celebration 2019 - Genoa

Our first year in Nevada we were a little overwhelmed by all the different options out there for celebrating Independence Day. We decided to hit as many events as we could, and the first one we went to was the Genoa Americana Celebration. We loved it so much that we decided then and there that this would be our family's new July 4th tradition. 

Bring a blanket and/or some folding chairs and get comfy on the lawn under the trees at Mormon Station State Park. The day is filled with amazing live music, BBQ, and free games and activities for all the kids. 

The kids love all the water games that are available to play. You can never go wrong with water! 

We LOVE the family-friendly laid-back atmosphere that is just dripping with a love for our country from start to finish. 

If you decide to spend your 4th here, you won't regret it! Bring snacks and water and plan to spend a wonderful day soaking up all the great old-timey Americana.
