We had big plans to try to visit a new park every day of Spring Break. Real life happened though and we only made it to two. Oh well! This park is one I've been meaning to visit for a while now and it just never seems to happen. We finally got it checked off our list though!
Located right across Stephanie Way from Pinon Hills Elementary School, this park is pretty easy to find and has a surprising number of offerings.
In addition to 2 half-basketball courts, tennis/pickle ball courts, a baseball diamond, bathrooms, a drinking fountain, and a picnic gazebo; this park also has a uniquely handicap accessible play ground. I've never seen a play structure with a concrete ramp leading right up to the top before, but this has one.
There is also a smaller structure for younger kids, so everyone can have fun here! My kids actually spent most of their time here riding their bikes down the ramp and around the side walks (my 5 year old just learned to ride her bike without training wheels and was SO excited to get to practice), but it was still fun. Their favorite feature of the playground was a spinning toy on the larger play set. They spun and spun until they were too dizzy to stand up straight anymore. The one thing this park does not have is swings.
